Description
North Star is the current incarnation of a very successful Maxi 72 hull originally launched under the name Rán II. Throughout her career, under various owners and names, the yacht has consistently competed at the sharp end of international maxi racing circuits, including winning the 2023 Maxi European Championship.
In 2021 she undertook a large scale refit, primarily focused on; Hydraulically powering the boat, New winches, electrics and new engine, to allow the boat be able to sail inshore with only 14 crew.
