F62 CANTING KEEL - The Mills 62 Canting Keel built by Fibre Mechanics brings the incredible power and performance of a canting keel to the Mini-Maxi size Racer/Cruiser. Built with the quality and attention to detail of Fibre Mechanics to ensure this ‘wolf in wolf’s clothing’ performs like a Grand Prix raceboat, with three cabins, a galley, and two heads, for the highest performance weekending and passage-making possible outside of racing.

Construction

The F62 is built by Fibre Mechanics using pre-preg carbon fibre throughout, processed to aerospace tolerances. The structural design employs a carbon grid-stiffened monocoque with integrated structural bulkheads and a full-length carbon box beam. Hull and deck are bonded using a structural adhesive system developed for offshore racing applications.
